Gemius publishes most visited website Top 15 in February 2019
International Internet technology and research company Gemius has published the Top of 15 most visited websites in Estonia in February 2019. Drop in Real Users was noted in nearly all Top sites which can be explained with the fact that February is the shortest month of the year.
Total statistics for all devices
The most visited site from all devices, i.e., from computers, mobile phones, and tablets together, in February is news portal delfi.ee with 622 000 Real Users, followed by postimees.ee with 610 000 users. In third position remains ohtuleht.ee with 352 000 visitors, followed by kv.ee with 303 000 users, but Top 5 is closed by auto24.ee with 271 000 Real Users from all platforms together. Additionally, site ok.ru should also be mentioned, namely, with 72 000 users it enters February Top 15 and takes its last position.
Drop in Real Users was shown for almost all Top 15 sites which can be explained with the fact that February is the shortest month of the year. However, the biggest increase in users from all platforms together was noted for the site ok.ru with +2 percent or +2 000 Real Users. Biggest drop in visitors was noted for the site osta.ee with -14 percent or -31 000 users in February.
Real Users and computers
The most visited site from computers in February is delfi.ee with 461 000 Real Users. In second place is postimees.ee with 429 000 visitors. Top 3 is closed by ohtuleht.ee with 228 000 Real Users. In fourth position with 167 000 users remains site kv.ee, but Top 5 is closed by neti.ee with 162 000 visitors from computers in February.
Additionally, portal mail.ru should be noted as it has reached 97 000 users in February, therefore, rising by two positions and taking the computer Top’s tenth place. Furthermore, sky.ee enters the computer Top with 40 000 Real Users and taking fifteenth position.
Increase in visitors from computers in February was noted for only three sites. The highest increase was shown for the portal sky.ee with +4 percent or +2 000 users. Highest drop, however, was noted for osta.ee with -17 percent or -23 000 Real Users from computers.
Real Users from mobile devices
In the mobile device visit Top, i.e., from mobile phones and tablets together, remains news portal delfi.ee with 552 000 visitors, followed by postimees.ee with 543 000 users. It should be noted, however, that starting with February mobile application measurement for postimees.ee has been added to the research. Third position is taken by ohtuleht.ee with 292 000 Real Users in February. In fourth position and rising by one place is auto24.ee with 207 000 visitors. Top 5 is closed by kv.ee that drops by one place and has reached 206 000 Real Users.
Highest percentage increase in Real Users from mobile phones and tablets together was shown for the site mail.ru with +5 percent. However, the highest numerical increase was noted for news portal postimees.ee with +10 000 visitors. Highest drop in February was shown for osta.ee with -14 percent or -19 000 Real Users from all mobile devices together.
Top 15 is based on data about internet audience that is aged between 15 and 74 years of age, is from the territory of Estonian state and visit sites from computers, mobile phones, and tablets. The sites included in this top are those that participated in the gemiusAudience research in February. gemiusAudience research is based on a complex and modern methodology that allows to see the number of real persons (Real Users) within a page, rather than looking at cookies or IP addresses that do not show the number of actual persons visiting the relevant page.
