Gemius: Most visited websites in Estonia, December 2020
Internet technology and research company Gemius has published Top of 10 most visited websites in Estonia in December 2020. While in the total statistics all sites maintained their position, in Computer top portal ohtuleht.ee moved up to 3rd place, but in Mobile top site tv3.ee with the biggest increase in numbers closes Top 5 of most visited websites.
Total statistics for all devices
The most visited site from all devices, i.e., from computers, mobile phones, and tablets together, in the last month of year 2020 was delfi.ee with 693 000 Real Users, which is +2 000 users compared to November. Portal postimees.ee with 619 000 readers and increase by +4 000 users takes second position, but Top 3 is closed by elu24.ee with an audience of 472 000 users and increase by +6 000. Meanwhile in fourth position is portal ohtuleht.ee with 448 000 Real users and increase by +6 000 readers, but number 5th is tv3.ee, showing biggest increase by +14 000 Real Users in audience from all devices.
Decreases from all devices in previous month was shown for news portal geenius.ee with -7 000 Real Users (-3 percent), also site neti.ee with -7 000 readers and vk.com with the same decrease in numbers. It should also be noted that sites online.ee audience grew by +6 000 Real Users (+4 percent), but mail.ru gained +4 000 users compared to November. It is important to note that all sites maintained their positions in the top of total statistics.
Real Users and computers
Computer top in holiday month December is revealed by delfi.ee with 498 000 users and decrease by -7 000 users, but portal postimees.ee takes second position with 410 000 users, which is -3 000 users compared to November data. Meanwhile portal ohtuleht.ee has switched places with elu24.ee and takes 3rd place in Computer top with 268 000 readers and increase by +2 000 Real Users. Accordingly, portal elu24.ee with an audience of 264 000 users (-1 000 Real Users) in December is in fourth position, but Top 5 is closed by tv3.ee with 129 000 Real Users which is +3 000 more than previous month.
Most of the Computer top sites have shown audience drops. Biggest decrease in numbers was shown for site geenius.ee with -12 000 Real users (-12 percent) compared to November data and dropping one position in the top. Meanwhile neti.ee audience decreased by -5 000 users (-5 percent), but small decreases were shown for sites mail.ru and vk.com with -3 000 Real Users for each (accordingly -4 and -5 percent).
Real Users from mobile devices
Mobile top in December is revealed by delfi.ee in the 1st place with 659 000 Real Users from mobile phones and tablets together, which is +4 000 Real Users compared to November statistics. Second place is taken by postimees.ee with 568 000 visitors and decrease by -7 000 visitors, but portal elu24.ee is 3rd with 428 000 users from mobile devices and decrease by -2 000 users. Portal ohtuleht.ee takes 4th position in Mobile top with 411 000 Real Users and increase by +10 000 users. Meanwhile moving up one position in the top with the biggest increase by +16 000 Real Users in December Top 5 is closed by tv3.ee.
Biggest decrease in numbers was shown for site geenius.ee with -12 000 users from mobile devices (-5 percent), also for portal mke.ee with -8 000 users (-20 percent), while vk.com audience decreased by -3 000 visitors. However small increase was also shown for site mail.ru with +2 000 users, while portals online.ee audience remained the same as in November.

Top 15 is based on data about internet audience that is aged between 15 and 74 years of age, is from the territory of Estonian state and visit sites from computers, mobile phones, and tablets. The sites included in this top are those that participated in the gemiusAudience research in December. gemiusAudience research is based on a complex and modern methodology that allows to see the number of real persons (Real Users) within a page, rather than looking at cookies or IP addresses that do not show the number of actual persons visiting the relevant page.
