Total statistics for all devices

In August nearly all Top 10 most visited websites in Estonia experienced an increase in visitors from all devices, i.e., from computers, mobile phones and tablets together. Therefore, the general Top 10 from all devices remains the same as in the previous month. In first place with 628 000 Real Users is news portal postimees.ee, followed by delfi.ee with 587 000 visitors and ohtuleht.ee with 299 000 visitors from all devices in August.

Similarly to before, the biggest increase in visitors with more than +12 000 Real Users in August was noted in the news portal delfi.ee. An increase of +9 000 Real Users was also shown on the site toidutare.ee, which has reached the highest percentage increase of Real Users in August, namely, by +8 percent more visitors than in the previous month. However, the only drop in Real Users from all devices together was noted in the site neti.ee with about -2 000 people which is about -1 percent less than previously.

Real Users and computers

The Top 10 most visited sites from computers remains similar to the previous month. Namely, in first place with 498 000 people is postimees.ee, followed by deli.ee with 471 000 Real Users, as well as ohtuleht.ee with 223 000 Real Users in August. Neti.ee takes the fourth position with 178 000 and Top five is concluded by auto24.ee with 177 000 persons.

The sixth and seventh positions are slightly altered if compared to the previous month. In sixth position and rising by one place is mail.ru with slightly more than 116 000 Real Users. However, in the seventh position and dropping by one place is online.ee with 116 000 people.

The biggest increase in Real Users from computers in August was noted for the sites postimees.ee with +7 000 people and toidutare.ee with +6 000 visitors. Toidutare.ee also shows the highest increase in Real Users from computers percentage-wise with +9 percent more visitors in August. On the other hand, the highest drop in visitors was noted for the sites neti.ee with -2 000 people and tv3.ee with -1 000, therefore, also showing the highest drop in Real Users percentage-wise with -1 percent visitors from computers for both.

Changes in Real Users from mobile phones

The Top 10 most visited pages from mobile phones remains unchanged, however, all ten sites show an increase in the number of visitors from mobile phones in August. The highest increase in Real Users from mobile phones was noted for the site delfi.ee with +11 000 visitors in August. On the other hand, the highest increase in Real Users percentage-wise was shown for the sites toidutare.ee and kalkulaator.ee with +8 percent each (+4 000 and +2 000 Real Users respectively).

Top 10 is based on data about internet audience that is aged between 15 and 74 years of age, is from the territory of Estonian state and visit sites from computers, mobile phones, and tablets. The sites included in this top are those that participated in the gemiusAudience research in August. gemiusAudience research is based on a complex and modern methodology that allows to see the number of real persons (Real Users) within a page, rather than looking at cookies or IP addresses that do not show the number of actual persons visiting the relevant page.
