TOP 10 most visited websites in Estonia from computers, June 2022
In June the majority of Top 10 sites showed audience decreases, according to the internet technology and research company Gemius data on most visited websites in Estonia from computers. Showing one of the biggest decreases in numbers, youtube.com stepped back, allowing delfi.ee to return to 3rd place in the top.
In June almost all top sites showed audience decreases, compared to May data. The most notable decreases in numbers were shown for top leaders – social network Facebook audience decreased by 43 000 Real Users compared to May data, although remained second in the top with 563 000 visitors from computers. Meanwhile youtube.com with a similar decrease in numbers – by 42 000 visitors – stepped back to 4th position with 503 000 Real Users allowing delfi.ee to return to 3rd position with 523 000 Real Users and decrease by 15 000 compared to May. Remaining in the leader position Google is the only one that showed a small audience increase in June – by 318 users, reaching 767 000 Real Users from computers in June.
Portal postimees.ee with 410 000 Real Users takes 5th place among the top sites with a decrease by 9 000 users. Following postimees.ee two more portals showed similar audience changes – with a drop by 11 000 swedbank.ee remained 6th in the top with 338 000 visitors, but portal err.ee is 7th with 278 000 users from computers and decrease by 9 000.
Without already mentioned notable audience decrease was also noted for the online encyclopedia wikipedia.org – by 38 000 users – reaching 247 000 visitors from computers and dropping one place in the top to 9th position. Despite the audience drop by 27 000 site ria.ee switched places with wikipedia.org and reached 8th place with 257 000 visitors from computers in June. The top is closed by ohtuleht.ee with 238 000 readers from computers and audience drop by 12 000 Real Users, compared to May.
As reported before, from this spring gemiusAudience study in Estonia includes data on most popular pages from computers, including social networks, media, advertisers, banks, e-commerce, and the public sector and other sites. As before, the new data allow to analyze user habits by socio-demographic indicators - users' gender, age, place of residence, income and other characteristics. Data are available on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. In total, data for about 100 websites are available, and list will be updated regularly.
Top is based on data about internet audience that is aged between 15 and 74 years of age, is from the territory of Estonian state and visit sites from computers. gemiusAudience research is based on a complex and modern methodology that allows to see the number of real persons (Real Users) within a page, rather than looking at cookies or IP addresses that do not show the number of actual persons visiting the relevant page.
