TOP 10 most visited websites from computers in Estonia, April 2022
In previous month almost all Top 10 sites remained their places in the top, according to internet technology and research company Gemius April data on most visited websites from computers. However, only one of the TOP 10 sites – portal ria.ee – showed small audience increase, while the biggest decrease in numbers was noted for site err.ee.
Compared to March data, almost all Top 10 sites remained their places in the most visited site top in April, however, most of the sites showed drops in audience. Biggest decrease in numbers was noted for site err.ee – by 58 000 Real Users, reaching 295 000 visitors from computers in April and falling from 6th to 8th position in the top. Audience decreases were also shown for portal ohtuleht.ee, reaching by 20 000 less users than in March, for swedbank.ee – by 16 000 Real Users, and online encyclopedia wikipedia.org – by 9 000 Real Users. Meanwhile Estonian information system authority page ria.ee is the only one among Top 10 sites that showed audience increase in April. Reaching 306 000 Real Users, portals audience showed a small increase by 1 000 visitors.
Like in previous month, the most visited site from computers in Estonia was search engine Google with 752 000 Real Users and audience decrease by 10 000 users. Social media portal Facebook takes 2nd place with 604 000 users and drop by 9 000 visitors, but Top 3 is closed by local news media delfi.ee that reached 561 000 readers from computers in April with audience decrease by 15 000 visitors. With 538 000 Real Users and small audience decrease by 2 000 visitors, youtube.com takes 4th place, but Top 5 is closed by news site postimees.ee with an audience of 445 000 Real Users and decrease by 29 000 readers, compared to March data.
As reported before, from March this year gemiusAudience study in Estonia includes data on most popular pages from computers, including social networks, media, advertisers, banks, e-commerce, and the public sector and other sites. As before, the new data allow to analyze user habits by socio-demographic indicators - users' gender, age, place of residence, income and other characteristics. Data are available on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. In total, data for about 100 websites are available, and list will be updated regularly.
Top is based on data about internet audience that is aged between 15 and 74 years of age, is from the territory of Estonian state and visit sites from computers. gemiusAudience research is based on a complex and modern methodology that allows to see the number of real persons (Real Users) within a page, rather than looking at cookies or IP addresses that do not show the number of actual persons visiting the relevant page.
