Gemius publishes most visited website Top 15 in March 2019

International Internet technology and research company Gemius has published the Top of 15 most visited websites in Estonia in March 2019. Unlike the shortest month of the year, the total number of Real Users has returned to its previous level. Meanwhile, TOP3 remained unchanged.

Total statistics for all devices

The most visited site from all devices, i.e., from computers, mobile phones, and tablets together, in March is news portal delfi.ee with 635 000 Real Users, followed by postimees.ee with 626 000 users. In third position remains ohtuleht.ee with 364 000 visitors, followed by auto24.ee with 298 000 users, but Top 5 is closed by tv3.ee with 232 000 Real Users from all platforms together. The percentage of Real Users has increased for both – auto24.ee and tv3.ee – allowing auto24.ee to rise up to 4th place and tv3.ee from 7th place in February to 5th in March. Additionally, it should be mentioned, that the sites from 10th to 15th place has returned to the Top again: ria.ru, liigume.ee, ehitusfoorum.com, mototehnika.ee and mke.ee with 37 000 up to 54 000 Real Users.

Increase of Real Users was shown for all Top 10 sites which can be explained with the fact that February was the shortest month of the year. However, the biggest increase in users from all platforms together was noted for the site auto24.ee with +9 percent or +27 000 Real Users and tv3.ee and kuldnebors.ee with +7 percent Real Users or + 17 000 Real Users for tv3.ee and +11 000 Real Users for kuldnebors.lv.

Real Users and computers

The most visited site from computers in March is delfi.ee with 480 000 Real Users. In second place is postimees.ee with 438 000 visitors. Top 3 is closed by ohtuleht.ee with 238 000 Real Users. Unlike February, in fourth position with 171 000 users is site auto24.ee, but Top 5 is closed by neti.ee with 161 000 visitors from computers in March.

Also, portal kuldnebors.ee should be noted as it has reached 99 000 users in March, therefore rising by three positions, +6 percent and taking the 8th place in computer Top10. Furthermore, kalale.ee enters the computer Top with 14 000 Real Users and taking 15th position.

Drop of visitors from computers in March was noted for two sites – ok.ru with -3 percent or -1 000 Real Users and neti.ee with -1 percent or -2 000 Real Users. The highest increase was shown for the portal auto24.ee with +6 percent or + 10 000 users and kuldnebors.ee with +6 percent or 6 000 Real Users from computers. 

Real Users from mobile devices

In the mobile device visit Top, i.e., from mobile phones and tablets together, remains news portal delfi.ee with 577 000 visitors, followed by postimees.ee with 568 000 users. Third position is taken by ohtuleht.ee with 304 000 Real Users in March. In fourth position is auto24.ee with 233 000 visitors, but Top 5 is closed by tv3.ee rising by one place and reaching 168 000 Real Users.

Highest percentage increase in Real Users from mobile phones and tablets together was shown for the site auto24.ee with +11 percent or +26 000 Real Users. Also kuldnebors.ee should be mentioned with +10 percent mobile Real Users or +8 000 visitors. The drop in March was shown for ok.ru with -1 percent or -300 Real Users from all mobile devices together.

 

Top 15 is based on data about internet audience that is aged between 15 and 74 years of age, is from the territory of Estonian state and visit sites from computers, mobile phones, and tablets. The sites included in this top are those that participated in the gemiusAudience research in March. gemiusAudience research is based on a complex and modern methodology that allows to see the number of real persons (Real Users) within a page, rather than looking at cookies or IP addresses that do not show the number of actual persons visiting the relevant page.
