Gemius: Most visited websites in Estonia, March 2021
Internet technology and research company Gemius has published Top of 10 most visited websites in Estonia in March 2021. Compared to the data of the shortest month of the year, all Top sites showed audience increases in March. Meanwhile site liigume.ee returned among Top 10 sites from all devices.
Total statistics for all devices
The most visited site from all devices, i.e., from computers, mobile phones, and tablets together in March was delfi.ee with 712 000 visitors and increase by +35 000 Real Users compared to February, followed by postimees.ee with 669 000 readers and increase by +30 000 users. Showing increase by +24 000 users portal elu24.ee closes Top 3 with an audience of 493 000 users from all devices together.
Meanwhile the biggest increase in numbers was noticed for site tv3.ee with +47 000 users compared to February and an audience of 365 000 from all devices together, also for ohtuleht.ee with same increase in numbers and 483 000 visitors this March. However, news portals geenius.ee audience from all devices together also increased by + 40 000 Real Users compared to February reaching 317 000 visitors.
The biggest increase in percentage was noted for portal ok.ru with +24 percent (+18 000) compared to February. It should also be noted that site liigume.ee returned among Top 10 sites with 22 000 Real Users in previous month.
Real Users and computers
Computer top in March is revealed by delfi.ee with 522 000 Real users and +32 000 users compared to February statistics. With the same increase – by +32 000 users – and an audience of 436 000 users from computers postimees.ee takes 2nd place, but 3rd is ohtuleht.ee with 275 000 users and increase by +25 000 Real Users compared to February data. With an audience of 257 000 and +12 000 Real Users compared to February, portal elu24.ee takes 4th position in Computer top, followed by tv3.ee with 156 000 visitors and the biggest increase in percentage – by +17 percent or +26 000 users.
Significant increase was also noted for portal geenius.ee with +15 000 Real Users or +14 percent. Also vk.com audience increased by +7 000 visitors (+10 percent), but ok.ru reached by +5 000 visitors more than in February. As in total statistics, portal liigume.ee closes Top 10 sites with 8 000 Real Users in March.
Real Users from mobile devices
The most popular site from mobile devices in March as usually is delfi.ee in the 1st place with 672 000 Real Users from mobile phones and tablets together and increase by +28 000 Real Users compared to February. Portal postimees.ee takes 2nd place with 624 000 visitors and significant increase in numbers – by +35 000 Real Users, but elu24.ee is 3rd with 447 000 readers from mobile devices and increase by +23 000. Meanwhile portal ohtuleht.ee takes 4th position in Mobile top with 437 000 Real Users and the biggest increase in numbers in previous month – by +43 000 Real Users. While reaching 304 000 Real Users site tv3.ee closes Top 5 with an increase by 26 000, it should be noted that portal geenius.ee showed the same increase in March with an audience of 264 000 visitors.
As mentioned before increases in previous month were noted for all top sites, accordingly portal’s ok.ru audience increased by +14 000 Real Users, vk.com reached by +6 000 visitors more than in February, but mail.ru showed increase by +5 000 users. Meanwhile with 14 000 Real Users liigume.ee closes Mobile top in March.

Top 10 is based on data about internet audience that is aged between 15 and 74 years of age, is from the territory of Estonian state and visit sites from computers, mobile phones, and tablets. The sites included in this top are those that participated in the gemiusAudience research in March. gemiusAudience research is based on a complex and modern methodology that allows to see the number of real persons (Real Users) within a page, rather than looking at cookies or IP addresses that do not show the number of actual persons visiting the relevant page.
